D02. Drive to airport for flight to Lijiang in the morning, met and transferred to

D03. In the morning,vist Black Dragon Pool park ,then go to Yuhu (Naxi Villaga, 15

km north of Lijiang). Here should be house build from 'ApeStone', a mixture of

nature stone and loam/mud. Yuhu was the home town of Dr. Joseph Rock, a famous

botanist who has monitored a lot of the Naxi culture and flora. Visit Rock's old house,

D04. Visit Zhonghe Temple upon Cangshan Mountain by chairlift. Then visit

D06. After breakfast drive to Stone Forest of Yunnan (90km, 1.5hr) by coach, visit Stone Forest after lunch, Lunch with famous local roast duck and Sani cake. Stone Forest is typical of its Karsts-landscape. In 80 hectares you will enjoy the bizarre-shaped cliffs and peaks which were in the ancient sea before 270 million years ago. Sani minority lives here since hundreds of years. Sani girls with their colorful clothes like moving flowers in the Stone Forest. Drive back to Kunming, Special

D08. Catch morning flight from Kunming to Guiyang, Arriving in Guiyang, met and transferred to Kaili, 200km,2.5hours. Kaili is the capital of the southeast Miao and Dong Minority Autonomous prefecture. Visit Jidao long skirt Miao village, a real gem with traditional wooden houses, enjoy the traditional welcoming ceremony of Miao people. D09 Drive to Zhengyuan Town,140km, 2 hours'driving, On the way visit Flying

Clouds Cliff which was built in the Qing Dynasty. The structure acquires its name

because it is located below the karst rock in the shape of cloud. Its main landscapesinclude the temple, an ancient post hall, stone tablets of poems and classical Chinese poetry, ancient and famous trees, and unique karst rocks. Before arrving town center, Wuyang river boat tour (about 2 hours) along Wuyang River which is called the combination of Yangze River and mountain & river of Guilin. Arriving in Zhengyuan, after lunch,visit the ancient Zhengyuan town which has a history of more than 2000 years since Wuyang County was established in 202 B.C. The style and features of the ancient city still exist, including the ancient street, dock, gate,

residences, wells, bridges, walls.

D10. Morning go to visit Black Dragon Cave, an old building which is combined with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The cave with history of over 600 years is close to the Wuyang River and faces the prefectural city. It contains 36 ancient architectures of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism and has a fairly high value in terms of its architectures and tourism known both at home and abroad. Then drive to Xijiang, 160km, 3hoursdriving, visit the biggest Miao villageXijiang, also called" One Thousand Family Miao village ". Enjoy local performance at about 5.30pm (B.L.D) Overnight in Kali

D11.Drive to Zhaoxing, 300km, 4.5 hours. Zhaoxing is located on the dam encircled by hills, the river with clear water passes through the village. The village is divided into five natural sections, each section has a clan and each clan has a drum-tower.

Zhaoxing is the biggest Dong village in China.Houses of the village are typical wooden structures with black tiles. The five rarely seen wooden drum-towers in

different postures, four grand wooden bridges and five stages have absorbed the essence of the Dong architectural art. one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000. Drum towers, Roofed Bridges and local opera stages are all here, in the evening, enjoy local famous performance, pretty Dong girls will dress up their traditional costume and perform on their well-known ¡® Big Song' for everybody.

D16. Drive to Linxia,180KM, 2.5 hours

driving, catch yacht to Binglingsi Grottoes, 60km, about 1 hour by yacht. Then continue driving to Xiahe Tibetan county, 120km, 2.5hours driving. Visit Sangke grassland and local Tibetan family.

D17.Visit Labrang Monastery, one of the leading Yellow sect monasteries, well-known as a great monastic university. In the afternoon visit Gongtang pogoda. the Gongtang Pagoda is a 31-meter-high five story structure, with a pinnacle crowned with sun, moon and star shaped decorations. On the facade are eight goldlated Buddhas in relief. Inside, there is a collection of more than 20,000 volumes of Buddhist sutras on the second floor and 1,032 bronze Buddha statues on the third floor. There are also over one hundred vivid murals preserved in the pagoda.)
